georgias adventures in melbourne

we had such a fab time with georgia while she was here.....
so thought i'd put together some of the photos taken {like a journal entry for her too}

lunch in south melbourne with fams

yesterday morning me + vik went to the airport to pick up our niece georgia.......{she is so grown up} we were chuckling between us {me + vik} saying when she was younger we may have been the
cool aunties now we are prob the older boring aunties hehehehehe
george is just so so lovely and inspiring, and it is so nice having her here in melbourne with us for a wee bit........
here are some pics of this very cool cafe vik introduced us to in south melbourne

the photo above of my lunch doesn't look pretty of course i started hooking into it before a photo
but it was so delish, salmon, poached egg, lemon aioli, potato + salad yummo
and outside the cafe most of the street was graffitied LOVE IT.....
then our afternoon was spent at dfo, then family dinner........wonder what else we'll get up
to this week??????

i enjoyed point and shoot so much last week i thought i'd do it again…..

this weekend ended up being a busy one, and mumma is a wittle bit tired today…

so great having the rain, the grass i’m sure is loving it and a good excuse to lounge around on the couch and watch dvd’s or snuggle down with a good magazine….

i thought i’d share my day {ledamae} @ the markets yesterday, and yes we were in the rain, it was great how many people came out to support all the local crafters, produce etc even in the rain.....

and to top it off being in amoungest so many amazing talented people....it's like the coolest little community....

when i thought of the point + shoot {over @ fat mum slim} and taking photos i thought i'd take some photos of what it looks like from my view....enjoy might see you next week

mothers day 2010

wow what a fantastic mother's day first i was off to the camberwell markets then coffee and a delicious slice at my dear friend lissie's....

then greg and zekky took me to the ferris wheel down by the yarra first we had wine, cheese and crackers and of course zekky had potatoe chips then zekky had a run around playing hide and seek with dad....so so adorable to watch, although he didn't really like mummy trying to play as well

so it was off to the ferris wheel we went, the last time i went on the ferris wheel was on mother's day 3 years ago, dreaming of having a baby of my own and this time i was on the ferris wheel with my son and greg the view of the yarra from the wheel was beautiful and having my boys there with me was the icing on the cake.....but wait there's more my day didn't finish there

and last but not least we ended up in the fitzroy gardens laying under the amazing big trees, it is one of my favorite things to do. ever since i was a little girl, watching the clouds through the trees, dreaming, imagining, wondering of all the possibilities...........


(while greg looked after zeke of course)
then to top it off we got kiwi fish 'n' chips with watties tomato sauce and the famous (only in nz)
