happenings in my world + T4

i seem to always have something on the go either sewing, painting, cooking doing a diy
and of course i'm very very noisy and love to know what everyone else is up too in their world
either work, home or holidaying so thought id add this into this blogpost.......

i've been seeing this chevron pattern EVERYWHERE cushions, rugs, fabric you name it
it's so simple and i love it......i've had this canvas for about 3 years and thought why not paint the pattern myself so i taped it up and away i painted.....

don't look too close it's not even....although i do love that it's not perfect
{ps how cute is the little girl on the swing????}

+ this week i'm thankful 4 beautiful flowers, my very dear girlfriend kellie bought me a bunch of flowers and they are now in full bloom and are beautiful also every friday over at molly's maison sarah posts photos of all the beautiful flowers in her garden {pop over and have a browse}

thankful 4 : my washing machine

i don't know about you but i'm so thankful 4 my washing machine

i have a secret love affair with it hehehe

i've been thinking over this last week how i've had my

washing machine for about 71/2 years and

i don't want it to break down i don't

want a new one i love the one i've got.....while my sister

was here {which was fantastic thanks for your messages} she asked

is it normally that loud.......thats what got me thinking

about it, as i used it today i thought please keep 

going..........i know it prob sounds strange but i love doing the washing 

so this week i'm thankful 4 my washing machine

what house hold item could you not live without????????

thankful 4 : sisters

what am i thankful 4??????? sisters, whether they are biological or your friends you concider your
sisters, those amazing people who are there for you in good times and not so good thats what i'm thankful 4 today.....
as most of you know my sister is here from nz YAY and this photo is quite old, it was taken in raglan nz the day we found out she was pregnant with her first now she is preggers with her fourth
whoop whoop.......
so here's to all the sisters out there!!!!!!

this week i'm very thankful for skype.....
not sure about you but we have loads of family in different countries so its so nice to see faces
and the grandy's get to see little zeke too
do you use skype????? it does take a while to get used to it such a great idea......

thankful 4 : daylight savings

im so thankful and stoked we have daylight savings, i don't know about you but i seem to feel more alive i get so much more done and totally enjoy spending as much time outside as i can........
i know it's coming to an end next month but it will roll around again soon, what do you love about daylight savings and what are you thankful 4 this week?????

i have only just discovered these, when greg bought some home on monday night i devoured them and someone came home with them on tues as well yum yum......

thankful 4 : sand squished between my toes

i've been so thankful 4 being near the beach and having sand squished between my toes, no matter how i'm feeling when i'm at the beach i feel peace, i feel creative the only way i describe how the beach makes me feel is {i feel at home in my heart} i just love the beach and am thankful i'm living near it......

thankful 4 : the aid of others

i want to firstly start by saying thank you for all the emails, comments, txt, calls regarding the earthquake that hit new zealand, i don't have any immediate family there, my brother and sister moved back up north in nov, but i have friends and their families in the area and my parents friends, i have heard they are all ok which is amazing, however there are so many who have been affected

i was astonded with the help australia have given new zealand, and the aid others have given 

for this i'm so thankful

out of all this devastation in new zealand and australia over the past 5-6 months i've really noticed people rallying together to help and aid each other and people putting others needs before their own

thankful 4 : melbourne _ _ _!!!!!!

this week i'm so so thankful 4 the melbourne reroductive services, we had zeke {above} through ivf, he was our second attempt and i have to be honest and say it was such a positive experience, my doctor rachel knight was so calming and reassuring......everyone down to the receptionist were just wonderful, the ladies who took my bloods and scans where all cheering us on.....

i got a little choked up when getting blood test result {hubbs} said to the doctor "i just want to say thankyou for helping us get our son" {lump in my throat moment} i've been thinking about it alot as we will be starting the journey again this year, one of the quotes i held onto while trying last time was.....

faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see

i've been blogging now for about 9 months, i love being in this little community {internationally} of people who insprie, share and help each other, with topics like

last year nov 2010 i was walking along the beach with little zekky i'm always on the lookout for broken glass {pick it up so no one else steps on it} i found some glass and all the edges were smooth, there were no sharp bits or rough bits.....
i started thinking about how long it had been in the sea, banged against rocks, roughed up by the sand...to get to where it was that day

i thought about myself and how THANKFUL i was for the people in my life that have helped me become the person i am today, {believe me it has taken years} through tears, laughter and out right annoying me it's chipped away at some of my exterior and helped build my character and i'm so so thankful.....

i've seen a few blogs with linky's and thought about starting one last year but decided not too {you know self doubt set in} then i thought well i can be thankful and maybe other's could/would share in what they were feeling thankful 4, so you are welcome and i'd love it if you would like to join in there are no rules, you can add pictures/words whatever you like of what you are feeling thankful for, so every thursday join me in being thankful 4 something/someone/anything
