wow it has been sooooooo long, is anyone still in blogland who remembers me hehehehe

well ive decided to just pay for now, seriously i feel toooo overwhelmed at the moment
and really for a few dollars a month to not worry about, im totally happy with that......

so this year has been extremely busy already but i cant complain because this is what ive wanted

loads of things happening there and loving the journey with him....

i also have been making a real effort to reconnect with people as the end of last year i had lost touch with some and as most of you are in a similair boat oct | nov | dec {blink and you miss it}

happy christmas and cheers to a fantastic 2012

wow what a year.........full of challenges, new business, growth, dates, birthdays, growing boy, funeral, birth, camping, markets, meeting new people, opp shops, loads visitors, new fun things, picnics, movies, fun in the sun and the list could go on and on.......

i can say i wasn't expecting 2011 to be so busy and although i feel exhausted what a year, i'm really looking forward to 2012 and spending more time out and about exploring....

i hope you all have a wonderful christmas and thanks to each and everyone of you for following this blog and your wonderful comments, i just love christmas and all that it means.......christmas is a time i use to reflect and ponder on what has been and what is to come....

oh christmas tree oh christmas tree + T4

ok so this is my first fake christmas tree.......
it was a decision that didn't come easy, i just love real ones the smell the look etc
but hubbs gets bad hayfever and has put up with it for, oh 11 years hehehe and we spend about $70 - $100 a year on a fresh tree.........
i have to be honest and say i used to turn my nose up at fake trees, but times are changing and mumma is on a budget, hopefully i'll get a good few years out of this one {or until my taste changes.......again hehehe} i didn't just say that did i?????
so thought i'd give a fakie a go, i did go cheap cheap ebay $55.00 free postage, and to be honest when i opened the box, i felt a little disheartend..........it looked fake {well of course it's white giggle}
anyway i stuffed white tulle inside the tree so it looks fuller and once the lights went on and the decor
I LOVE IT......
and it was fun putting it up with little zeke, he was pulling them apart and loving being involved, every morning he comes out and says, "lights".......turns it on and says, "WOW" so cute

HELLO EVERYONE.....my first post in 2011

wow three weeks goes so so quickly....

i hope you all had a wonderful christmas and happy new year to you all, 2011 is going to be a good one i just know it....

we had a great christmas with family and it was so good seeing my nana and grandad and zeke finally getting to meet them and some other family members too...

i do need to remember that going back to nz is never really a holiday as it's crazy crazy with visiting people and moving from one place to the next, however it was fun

i missed melbourne and am happy to be home, i've come back feeling inspiried and looking forward to the year ahead, also looking froward to making a few changes {read more, more wellbeing in my life, and sometimes just to be}

i just love christmas

i just love christmas and all that it holds.......this year i've gone plain with a splash of green.......

and our little tradition for zeke is every year he gets an ornament that hangs on the tree and when he leaves home, he'll have is own collection.....however not sure at 18 or so if he'd like that, but its a cute tradition for now....his first one above is a nz tiki, then an orange ball

and this year a star.........so many posts at the moment about christmas and i love reading everyones little traditions.....as you can see this year we have white twigs {this is the 3rd time we have used this option} because we are going back to nz in a few days, it's a little bit silly buying a tree etc if were not gonna be here.....

i just wondered who else has a real tree???? i was over at melli's design and noticed a real tree but most others don't.........we always get a real tree too {poor greg with hayfever} i'd love to know your preference and why!!!!!!! i have hummed and harred about getting a fake one {because of the hayfever}
