another sneek at the new digs - zekes room

we are just loving the space that this new house is giving us........and zeke has so much room which is functional YAY, here are some photos of his space, white set of drawers i just picked up for $4.00 oh yeah!!!!! and his little play guitar from the oppy {so he can be like uncle gallie}

are your childrens room's roomie and functional??????
funny we have gone from the tinniest room with no wardrobe to a room with so much
space and a wardrope, i can now keep his linen and everything in there......

my new/old couch

ok here is my new/old couch i'm in love with it.......
i saw it in the opp shop window and could not get it out of my head all day, i popped back in the
arvo and so many people were looking at it, my heart was racing i didn't want to lose it
i asked if they would discount it for me, and they did i was so excited i wanted to take it home
then and there but had to wait till the next day........
of course i couldn't get it out of my head, and we don't really have the room, so i've reshuffled a few
things and have put the two chairs that came with this wonderful couch on ebay {i'd love to keep them too but we really don't have the room, i was pushing it with the couch......
it was one of those things i would of regretted if i didn't get it {merry christmas to me hehehe}
i just love the fabric its velvety and underneath it has a beautiful blue linen, the cushions off the couch are made from feathers and it sits on wheels, they just don't really make them like this anymore, the workmanship that has gone into this couch is just amazing......
i've discribed it to a few friends and to be honest doesn't sound amazing but when i see/look at it i swoon.......
i just need a little rug underneath it now.......
i know it won't be for everyone but what do you think???????

11 opp shops in one week!!!! phew

as you all know i love opp shopping, going to trash 'n' treasure markets.......and i think i need to start garage sales also......

well this week i counted up 11 opp shops i visited, just yesterday i went to the recycle centre and found this beautiful beautiful coffee table {i'm in love with it}
also in the background i got 3 pillows all from different shops all in the same colour palette go figure {was my lucky day} and the gorge lamp in the background...

it was a successful opp shopping day yesterday and the car was jam packed with goodies.....

sorry i've been neglecting my blog a little bit, i feel like i need to come up for air soon, i'm still in the process of getting another little {business project up and running} thanks for some of the advise and support, i'm excited but nervous.....ya know putting yourself out there.....

we have had a great day as a family, took zekky to his first movie {cars 2} then went and visited his little friend zara, he loved it.........

what a week phew + our new neighborhood

wow what a week......thank you all so much for your lovely comments, feeling much better and yes i did get around to having a glass of bubbles......
well as fast as the house sold, we are on the move, how good does the picture above look???? this is our new neighborhood, we will be renting for a while and investigate what we will do next either a reno or building again......

i can't wait to stroll down the beach, our new rental is a 5 min walk from the beach yay....
a very dear friend introduced us to mornington about 5 years ago and we loved it, i'm also looking forward to siffting through all the opp shops she's taken me to and the winery's oh yes loads and loads of winery's.....
so we move in 2 and a half weeks, and downsizing dramatically, so i'm ebaying like crazy and being ruthless, it's quite invigorating, hope you are all having a great week i've been missing blogging of late and yes you will see me again this week
