who loves birthdays???? and why

well i am the big 36 years old on the 25th feb, and wow time sure goes by sooooo fast
i love birthdays and all that their about, and yes often im known to have a long
2-3 weeks of celebrations {how bout you????}

its funny we make a big deal about our children, nieces and nephews about how its a celebration and
we do the big count wow your  4 now etc........

to be honest that still hasn't changed for me, yes its not the same as when i was a child, i get excited but that giddy cant sleep isnt there like it used to, but i still see it as an amazing celebration and am
constantly thankful and reflect on the year past and i love being around loads of people and {ok i'll admit it} it is kinda nice when people make a fuss about little old ME!!!!!!!!

a big thankyou to everyone who made it wonderful with all the messages, txt, phone calls and the
lovely cards and gifts, you all made me feel so so valued

i had some lovely girls in my world org a day out i got my nails done, pedicure, lovely lunch at the portsea hotel, wonderful chats and got driven around the peninsula, followed by dinner at the epicurean, it was delish and if you haven't been you need to go thanks guys xx

then my brother and sis in law kate with the kids arrived from nz to live, so we org a welcome to australia lunch + birthday for tompo {friend} and myself so of course it was packed with loads of kiwis and some lovely friends, low key and ended up at the beach {perfect}

and on my actual birthday my lovely boys took me shopping and mumma now owns something from tiffanys fun fun, the service was amazing.........

well ive decided to just pay for now, seriously i feel toooo overwhelmed at the moment
and really for a few dollars a month to not worry about, im totally happy with that......

so this year has been extremely busy already but i cant complain because this is what ive wanted

loads of things happening there and loving the journey with him....

i also have been making a real effort to reconnect with people as the end of last year i had lost touch with some and as most of you are in a similair boat oct | nov | dec {blink and you miss it}

just breathe

2 weeks since we've been back and its flown right on by........
i truely had an amazing day and needed it, i needed to just STOP and breathe

so i've become an iphone user {finally you all say hahaha}
and am a little addicted to instagram and looking forward to maybe doing the dec photo a day
see how busy mumma goes.....
above is where i spent 5 hours in dromana at the beach today it recharged my batteries and the company {thanks bek} filled me with hope, some direction for 2013 and just all over good vibes

i always seem to get into a little funk when i return from nz, i love melbourne and dont want to
move back but spending time with my fams and seeing neices and nephews growing up without
you around makes me feel sad at times and i had a wonderful time while back there....
zeke everyday has asked to see his girls {my neices} he loved them cuteness

i have some exciting things happening at the moment and will follow on in another post....

road trip to pick up gregs dream car....

what a weekend........
i had the red hill markets on saturday which was so good getting back into the swing of
things, i hadn't done a craft market in a few months, off to flemington in a few weeks also...
then 5.30am {on fathers day} greg, zekky and myself headed off on a road trip
to mt. gambier to pick up gregs dream car.......
he has wanted this car {oh for about 18 years} it is so much his dream car its the colour he's wanted
and everything about it is down to the 'T', he is one shuffed lad........
we had the best trip and i forgot how much i miss road trips, we used to do them a lot in nz
we arrived in mt. gambier in good time and the couple we bought the car off were so lovely and
friendly, i think hubbs might have another car buddy

then it was off to warrnambool to the camping ground for the night SO MUCH FUN......
we caught up with friends who have recently moved there and their two adorable little girls
zeke loved it......we did so much in such a small amount of time and yet
we had such a relaxing time away

we had to assure him we were going camping very soon, so looks like a little

weekend away very soon in the tent it is......i do love that he loves camping

wow what a camping trip.....

we had the best time away and needed it, we totally relaxed and just did all the fun stuff

. we swam in the pool for hours on end
. walked and snoozed on the beach {mummy snoozed}
. went for bike rides
. jumped on the jumping pillow
. had the yummest meals
. had a movie night for the kids
. went on the flying fox {adults included}
. visited the warrnambool cheese factory {devine my fav herb + spice}
. flicked through magazines
. kids had hot chocolates every night
. had amazing discussions
. of course did the opp shops
. day trip to port fairy {very cute little town}
. trash 'n' treasure market early sun morning

i've come back feeling refreshed and ready to take on whatever comes my way......
it's amazing what some down time can do to your mind body and soul.....
