first off i'm so sorry for not being around this past month, we have been crazy busy and i've enjoyed the wee break from blogland.........
do you post everyday or every week???????
i used to do 3 posts a week bit lately its only been once a week, i'm hoping once i'm in the office helping hubbs that i'll get to do a few more, while i'm sitting at the desk .....

ANYWAY EXCITING NEWS...........

can you believe our bags are all packed and we are heading to nz first thing tomorrow morning
so will miss the paper coming out, my dear friend lissie is all ready to go get me some copies to post over for me {thanks my wonderful lissie} we are off to celebrate my grandads 90th birthday {what an acheivement } and i get to meet my new nephew and see my family YIPPEE!!!!!!!!!

fun week with nikki + joshy

not the best photo but still fun capturing the moment, i know its been ages since i posted anything and it has been a busy month, my very dear friend nikki and her little joshy came over from nz for a week
and boy what fun it was, i've known nikki since i was 15 we {blondie in the middle} worked together hairdressing and have such fond memories.......
it is so nice having friends who have known you for years, they know the ends and outs the sad and happy and i feel very blessed and enriched having her as a friend and in my life...
i txt her 3 weeks before she came saying i missed her next minute {nek minute} she had tickets booked
{like i said very blessed}.......

we were so so happy our little boys zeke + joshy hit it off straight away, holding hands at the airport, we were both pregnant at the same time and i think they are 1-2 weeks apart
some fun things we did

* day trip to flinders + red hill
* chadstone shopping day
* mornington markets
* dinner with the girls kate, bron + vik
* walk to the beach down the pier
* boys had a play date at the play centre
* got inspired by nikki cooking
* had a sussie home maker day {nikki made soup, cake etc}
* had a dvd day with the boys {a chillax}
* had a lovely lunch at berkley nursery
* introduced nikki to my fav shop {T2}
* drove down the amazing arthers seat

i've finally got a new computer so i should be up and running a bit more, but have to admit i'm just enjoying life and at the moment have my grandad and dad + mum from nz for just over 2 weeks so i'm sure i'll have photos to share......

what an experience.........

i'm back from nz and would you believe i made it to the birth.............while on the plane over my sister went into the hospital and i was hoping to make it, my hands were shaking checking in and while on the plane i was just buzzing......once in nz i went to bed at 11.00pm and got the call at 2.30am to make my way to the hospital......so i was there for the birth.....

i feel so privileged and honoured and to be perfectly honest it was one of the most amazing days of my life, being there for and with my sister and jayden and seeing this little miracle being born, it is totally amazing having a child but this was so so different and hard to explain..

its been over a week and i still feel like i'm on a high, they have 3 little girls darcee, leila and brooklyn and to add to the family a little boy called judah, my eyes still tear up when i think about that very special day, she did so well and jayden was amazing and their midwife shirley has been there for the birth of all four {thats pretty special}......the 3 girls were adorable as ever, i love all their different personalities and their thirst for life, i miss them all already

it's great being back with my boys but wow what a trip.......

making a pav + off to nz

first thing this morning {zeke in pj's} we made a pavlova.....yummy i love them and they are so so easy to make.......

we have our favourite recipe from the good old nz edmonds cook book..........

and the finished result....can't wait to eat it, with cream and raspberries......
zeke was the perfect helper {happy to lick the beaters}......

+ i'm off to nz first thing tomorrow morning my sister is having her fourth baby yes i said fourth and i'm going to be at the birth eeekkkkk excited and nervous and can't wait to meet this new addition, so i'm hoping to do a post while i'm in nz lets see how i go, all have a great week and enjoy the moments that in-capture you

thankful 4 : the aid of others

i want to firstly start by saying thank you for all the emails, comments, txt, calls regarding the earthquake that hit new zealand, i don't have any immediate family there, my brother and sister moved back up north in nov, but i have friends and their families in the area and my parents friends, i have heard they are all ok which is amazing, however there are so many who have been affected

i was astonded with the help australia have given new zealand, and the aid others have given 

for this i'm so thankful

out of all this devastation in new zealand and australia over the past 5-6 months i've really noticed people rallying together to help and aid each other and people putting others needs before their own

HELLO EVERYONE.....my first post in 2011

wow three weeks goes so so quickly....

i hope you all had a wonderful christmas and happy new year to you all, 2011 is going to be a good one i just know it....

we had a great christmas with family and it was so good seeing my nana and grandad and zeke finally getting to meet them and some other family members too...

i do need to remember that going back to nz is never really a holiday as it's crazy crazy with visiting people and moving from one place to the next, however it was fun

i missed melbourne and am happy to be home, i've come back feeling inspiried and looking forward to the year ahead, also looking froward to making a few changes {read more, more wellbeing in my life, and sometimes just to be}

NZ here i come!!!!!!

i just wanted to say goodbye and have a wonderful christmas, filled with love, laughter and sunshine, i'll be away for a whole 3 weeks......

3 weeks holiday with my two boys fun fun fun i'll be loving the beach and the ocean.......can't wait to see my family and friends, i get to meet my brother's twins boy {needyn} and girl {kea} about two weeks old......loads of snuggles for me

so if you get time pop your feet up and chillax........with a little bit of mischef to be had in between times

i'll be thinking of you all and missing you i'm sure.......

i'll pop in from time to time and visit {if i can}...........
