screenprinting fun at harvesttextiles

recently i attended a 4 day course at harvesttextiles in brunswick......
i L-O-V-E-D it, i truly enjoyed every moment, we drew, cut out our stencils
got to mix colours and i loved learning how to make a repeat pattern
i've been wanted to do this for quite a few years, i use so many fabrics in my artwork
i thought how cool would it be to use my own fabrics

the course was fantastic i learnt so so much and the girls are all so lovely, they were so accommodating
and just wanted everyone to experiment and have fun and gave you loads of time to
paint your things on fabric

so i think everyone this year will be getting tea towels or pillowcases for christmas hehehe
we are on the couch today, zeke decided it was a jammie day so he's still in his jim jams
its raining so the heaters on and a movie......

wow featured in the herald sun

wow what a crazy week, as some of you know we headed to nz on the 26th
and flew in last night around 10.30ish so wee bit tired today
we had a wonderful time away and was so nice being at grandads 90th birthday,
and catching up with family and friends....
had some wonderful catch ups and of course always run out of time

anyway while we were away we were featured in the herald sun so i didn't get to see it until my girlfriend lovely lissie sent over some copies,
it was quite funny knowing everyone had read it or seen it and i had no idea what it looked like or said,
did any of you see it??????
 i had loads of lovely txt and messages thanks everyone
so if you didn't get to see it here it is........

to being more proactive on blogland........

few randoms of my studio

how was your weekend?????
we had a good but busy one, i love it when its busy but flows well, sat morning we met zekes little
friend fletcher at aqua in dromana {fantastic cafe with a playground} so the adults got to sit
around chatting with yummy food together, it was so great i wasn't ready to
leave after 3 hours hehehehe
then dinner at andrew + ivanas......yummest butter chicken i've had in ages, then it was the
red hill vintage market on sunday, so good meeting new people and being involved bek
and i did it together and she killed it whoop whoop

finally moved...back online + some birthday love

wow what a crazy few weeks its been here, moving {at short notice} but so glad we got the house, we love old school with a bit of character, we've built and done the brand new house see here.....

but if i have my choice i love art deco/60's-70's mixed with modern......

what sold me with this house was the built in booth seats and table {love love}

i'll take you on a little tour of the house over the next few weeks, thought i'd sneek a little photo of the table we did above for the weekend + the new dinning room..........

i've so missed being apart of blogland and am very happy to have internet again.....wa hoo

back to doing my madeit finds + some random shots + some T4's and keeping you updated on twiceBAKED @ the vintage shed + ledamae @ the markets, which reminds me ledamae will be at the red hill markets this saturday pop along and say hi....

and it was my birthday on the weekend the big 35 bring on 40 i say hehehe

i feel like i have so many exciting things happening this year and looking forward to the journey

weekend shananigans

what an eventful weekend, so many fun things........i just love christmas time
friday a lovely lunch date at the pavillion {mcrae}
family dvd night
saturday was jam packed.....
first birthday party
visiting old friend's in hoopers crossing
few opp shops
and a fun christmas cocktail party {see photos above}
we had to all dress up {yup greg even wore a tie}, take a gift for male + female and cocktail food
my girlfriend sylvia is the hostess with the mostess, she truely thought of everything
down to christmas activities for the children, glitter pasting and then some
it was my first time trying eggnog {delish}
and the food was amazing, if you ever get invited to there house for dinner/food
you always say yes hehehehehe
thanks sylvia + micheal + zara for a very fun night {photos of zeke + zara to come later in the week}
sun ledamae had the mornington markets then a little dinner party with great company
+ a yummy bottle of moet thanks sarah + kade

new stall at the vintage shed........

wow what a crazy crazy week, we set up the stall last thursday thanks to the lovely sally and hubbs for taking time out to help set up.......magic
bek and i were working like crazy women getting everthing tagged and priced, but it was loads of fun and love seeing empty spots where things have sold.......
we look forward to this journey and hope to see some of you in the near future visiting
