what a week..............

a cheeky monkey jumped into the spare bed this morning to watch a movie, i had to snap it......
i feel like every week is rolling into the next at the moment, we had a fun whirlwind weekend, a friend rachel came to hangout from sydney we

. went to mornington markets
. visited the vintage shed
. tryed the famous vanilla slice in sorrento
. went to harbourtown in docklands

all in a day and a half.......was fun
then felt a bit blah on monday, didn't really know what to do......had to snap out of it quickly as
tues, wed, thurs saw me doing loads of stuff for the upcoming markets this sunday at flemington

. zeke has started a new daycare, i think hes coping more than me
. zeke also got grommets last thurs, seems to be doing really well
. i had a new nephew arrive oh about 3 hours ago.....elisha james bogue
. my nephew judah {who if any remember i was at the birth last year } its his first birthday today
. and tonight we have my other nephew jet having his very first sleepover without mummy + dad
  i'll take photos for sure.........
. tomorrow lissie is coming to play on the peninsula i'm sure she'll take me/us somewhere new
  and exiting, {love exploring with her}
. and then sunday at the markets, looks like this weekend is sucked up too hehehehehehe

i hope whoever is reading this that you have a wonderful weekend and take some time just for
yourself, its not selfish to do this from time to time

we are just loving the space that this new house is giving us........and zeke has so much room which is functional YAY, here are some photos of his space, white set of drawers i just picked up for $4.00 oh yeah!!!!! and his little play guitar from the oppy {so he can be like uncle gallie}

are your childrens room's roomie and functional??????
funny we have gone from the tinniest room with no wardrobe to a room with so much
space and a wardrope, i can now keep his linen and everything in there......

our house has SOLD!!!!

sorry for my lack of blogging this week, it has been all systems go around here, we have sold our house and have 3 weeks to find a new place to live........mornington here we come!!!!!
i'm nervous and excited all in one, do you know what this feels like???? it's such a crazy feeling, not quite sure where my head has been the last week, it was a week ago yesterday that we had an unconditional offer on the house and a week later the deposit has gone through and the sold sticker is up...........i couldn't even have some bubbles to celebrate, i spent all day in bed sick........
{it's slowly sinking in} i'm going to miss this house we built, but need to look forward to our next adventure........hope you are all having a lovely week.......

i have a dining table

look what i got just last night my very own dining table.....wow i have never owned my own dining table, we have been using a tressle table from bunnings for the past 7 years and before that, we were using my parents while they were overseas.....

i was on ebay the other night looking for old vintage bikes and thought i'd have a scroll through the dining table, i saw this and it was perfect, i won it from a very lovely lady for $65.00......we are going to strip it and paint

it white, even though i don't mind it this colour {which surprises me} i do love the legs on it.....

my only dilemma is that my louie ghost's don't quite fit underneath, thank goodness i have a handy man who is gonna fix this problem.....

anyway i wanted to share my exciting new purchase, makes me feel like a grown up hehehe......what do you think???? and any advise on a good paint, i have primer already?????

house is officially on the market eekkk!!!!

well the sign went up yesterday and now we are on realestate.com yup the house is officially on the market.....oh my goodness!!!!
our first open home this saturday so i've been cleaning, cleaning, cleaning....
i was looking through the photos and thought my gosh, my bedroom looks so dull and flat, so i thought it was time for a change around {before the open home}

what do you think??? i think it was missing some colour ......do you like the bedlinen??? my sister-in-law who is an interior designer in nz, org this bedlinen for my birthday which they sell at her amazing store the urban lounge.....i love it, so simple but stylish......

i think my next purchase i would like is the mustard throw from elk accessories....

point + shoot : selling our house

this is my first point and shoot......thought it looked a bit fun!!!! well we are putting the house on the market so i thought i'd take a few photos for the realestate agent (even though they will be taking some themselves)...

we've been in the house for almost 2 years, and i think i'm going to be a little bit sad to leave....

we did build the house purely as an investment......at the moment we are westies, but my heart wants to be near the beach....so looks like we are moving to the mornington peninsula, a bit nervous but excited about the beach, wineries, markets you name it and only 1/2 hour drive from hubby's work, instead of an hour and 1/2 drive.....so who knows if the house sells for a good price we might be building again!!! FUN FUN FUN.......

when i look around and see evrything we have done with the house it's been a pretty cool process, we polished the concrete floors did all the landscaping thanks to the help of my sisters hubby jayden!!!!

i've said loads i love diy and yup, why pay someone when you can do it yourself and save $$$$$

i have so many photos but this is a taste of my point and shoot, thanks for letting me be apart of it and look forward to maybe doing it again......

finally finished zekky's room

well i have finally got zekky's artwork up on the wall, and i love it, 

we have collected quite a few artworks along the way and mumma has done a few as well, our latest artwork purchased was the one in the black frame like the old bus stop signs through the madeit website from

i love that the artwork chosen is a mixture of black white and wood with hints of colour, orange, teal, yellow......
i do like playing around with decor its so much fun and like a canvas, you can add too or take away till your hearts content.....

we also had this eye chart custom made through my sweet prints saying.......


"we love you ezekiel loads and loads"


which looks great on his shelf, not everything needs to be hung, and i love little clusters.....


now i just need to find a bed for him (white) of course, if anyone knows of some great design eg, loft bed with drawers underneath or day bed please let me know!!!!

i love my wallpaper

well i've had my new wallpaper up for a few months now and i love it, 

everytime i walk into my room i feel happy, all the colours are a mixture of my favorites.....although i prob need to tie hoe as i seem to be wanting to cover everything in it.... if you'd like to find out more about this wallpaper!!!!!.......me and my hubbie wallpapered our room and took 

some into the ensuite next to the mirrored wardrobe sliders, it had been sitting in the cupboard for almost a year and a half, so as you can imagine i was a happy chappy....


i've also used it as my banner and have made some art blocks using the wallpaper also you can view these here
