baby jets first sleepover............

yes it was a busy weekend, but to be honest such a fun weekend.......
friday night was the first time we had jet {my nephf} over for a sleep over, zeke was so excited
all day he kept saying, "can we go and get him now"
once we picked him up we the four of us went on an adventure to bunnings {oh what fun we had}
do you like bunnings??????? i love bunnings we strolled around aimlessly, we swung on the swing seats, something me and zeke have done for years, jet loved it.....
then it was home for dinner + bathtime + bed
jet was a pure delight, i miss my nieces and nephew so much and having a little nephew around the corner is lovely......
then it was off to the skate park sat morning.......
looking forward to cuddles tonight {family dinner night}

then sat arvo our lovely lissie came around for a birthday dinner for her, we just love spending time with lissie and it was so nice to just love on her

then sunday we were all packed up and off to the flemington markets, loved seeing familiar faces and love it when friends pop in, its like a meeting place hehehe

for lissies birthday dinner, we had corn fritters, topped with cheese, red onion, tomato, advo {in lemon juice + splash of tabasco sauce} coriander, salad, bacon + sour cream
seriously yummy my mouth is watering while i type........
and for dessert pav with cream cheese frosting + cream, raspberries + toasted almonds

what a week..............

a cheeky monkey jumped into the spare bed this morning to watch a movie, i had to snap it......
i feel like every week is rolling into the next at the moment, we had a fun whirlwind weekend, a friend rachel came to hangout from sydney we

. went to mornington markets
. visited the vintage shed
. tryed the famous vanilla slice in sorrento
. went to harbourtown in docklands

all in a day and a half.......was fun
then felt a bit blah on monday, didn't really know what to do......had to snap out of it quickly as
tues, wed, thurs saw me doing loads of stuff for the upcoming markets this sunday at flemington

. zeke has started a new daycare, i think hes coping more than me
. zeke also got grommets last thurs, seems to be doing really well
. i had a new nephew arrive oh about 3 hours ago.....elisha james bogue
. my nephew judah {who if any remember i was at the birth last year } its his first birthday today
. and tonight we have my other nephew jet having his very first sleepover without mummy + dad
  i'll take photos for sure.........
. tomorrow lissie is coming to play on the peninsula i'm sure she'll take me/us somewhere new
  and exiting, {love exploring with her}
. and then sunday at the markets, looks like this weekend is sucked up too hehehehehehe

new cushion + red hill vintage market

front and back of a new cushion made.......
not sure about you, have you noticed all the fluro colours with fashion etc??????
i have to admit i'm not totally into them for clothing { maybe the odd piece}
but totally loving it with decor

i bought this mustard fabric from the recycle centre and found some buttons i had lying around
and decided to use fluro pink thread {very subtle } but kinda cool and i like that the two sides
are different so you can flip it for  a change......

it is a new market just started up so we were at the very first one and it was loads of fun
the next one will be on sunday 26th august come and see us.......

stayed with my cousins in hampton and kate made two beautiful curries for dinner
caught the train into the vik markets { haven't been there for ages }
met the cutest little baby tia who was born on tuesday { so a very new bubba }
had dinner at d.o.c yummmmmmmmm

fun week with nikki + joshy

not the best photo but still fun capturing the moment, i know its been ages since i posted anything and it has been a busy month, my very dear friend nikki and her little joshy came over from nz for a week
and boy what fun it was, i've known nikki since i was 15 we {blondie in the middle} worked together hairdressing and have such fond memories.......
it is so nice having friends who have known you for years, they know the ends and outs the sad and happy and i feel very blessed and enriched having her as a friend and in my life...
i txt her 3 weeks before she came saying i missed her next minute {nek minute} she had tickets booked
{like i said very blessed}.......

we were so so happy our little boys zeke + joshy hit it off straight away, holding hands at the airport, we were both pregnant at the same time and i think they are 1-2 weeks apart
some fun things we did

* day trip to flinders + red hill
* chadstone shopping day
* mornington markets
* dinner with the girls kate, bron + vik
* walk to the beach down the pier
* boys had a play date at the play centre
* got inspired by nikki cooking
* had a sussie home maker day {nikki made soup, cake etc}
* had a dvd day with the boys {a chillax}
* had a lovely lunch at berkley nursery
* introduced nikki to my fav shop {T2}
* drove down the amazing arthers seat

i've finally got a new computer so i should be up and running a bit more, but have to admit i'm just enjoying life and at the moment have my grandad and dad + mum from nz for just over 2 weeks so i'm sure i'll have photos to share......

weekend shananigans

what an eventful weekend, so many fun things........i just love christmas time
friday a lovely lunch date at the pavillion {mcrae}
family dvd night
saturday was jam packed.....
first birthday party
visiting old friend's in hoopers crossing
few opp shops
and a fun christmas cocktail party {see photos above}
we had to all dress up {yup greg even wore a tie}, take a gift for male + female and cocktail food
my girlfriend sylvia is the hostess with the mostess, she truely thought of everything
down to christmas activities for the children, glitter pasting and then some
it was my first time trying eggnog {delish}
and the food was amazing, if you ever get invited to there house for dinner/food
you always say yes hehehehehe

sun ledamae had the mornington markets then a little dinner party with great company

what a fantastic weekend, the red hill markets went off, the weather was beautiful, everyone was in high spirits and i had a little helper joanna {thanks joanna}......i just love doing the markets, and meeting new people......do you enjoy a stroll around craft markets?????

point + shoot : sorrento

we have had a busy weekend weekend, gregs parents are here from nz for 10 days......
so on saturday we drove to sorrento and had the famous vanilla slice with a coffee delicious.....
zeke is running around saying "poppa, poppa, nannie" very cute

and i thought i'd sneek in a photo of the beautiful roses my lovely neighbour flow bought over fresh from her garden......so spoilt and they smell insane

also we had a great day at the flemington markets yesterday.....was such a beautiful day, one thing a customer said to me yesterday was that my stall felt very tranquil, and relaxing {yay to feel relaxed while shopping}

point + shoot : market weekend

this was the weekend for markets.....my sister is over from nz and i dragged her out
of bed on saturday morning to attend the redhill markets with me { it was freezing } i took a photo of my sister all wrapped up in a blanket with her slippers on

we laughed so hard my cheeks were hurting....i was just a little jealous i didn't have my slippers of
course i only had my jandels on { flip flops } and it was cold

it was a great day and met some wonderful people, i loved that my sister got to see the process of the markets, setting up etc and she did a spot of shopping and sampled the food

if you haven't been to any of these marekts flemington, mornington, redhill don't eat before hand the
food is just devine

and yesterday we went to the vic markets and met up with some friends, the popplewells.....
and the kids piled into the helicopter so cute to watch with the smiles and giggles so all in all we had
a fun packed weekend with markets and opp shops, what did you do this weekend????

madeit find : + strawberries

how gorgeous is this set of 5 pancakes and 10 strawberries made out of felt and fiber fill..........what a great idea for imaginative play at home, in homecorner etc, so this is my madeit find this week by alphacrafts too adorable and tasty looking yum yum
