talking about vases's............

carrying on from the last post, and talking about vase's etc what is the strangest vase/vessel you have used to put flower's into???????????????????????
my favourite at the moment is my white jug in the photo above and i love clusters of vases's/vessels see photo below............

i also use....
old milk bottles / jars / teacups, teapots / wine, champayne glasses.......what's your favourite?????

have you met miss jones?????

when simone from honeynfizz did a post on have you met miss jones, i mentioned i had at the reed gift fair and said i would post a few of the things i had bought........
my first two purchases i bought from a cute shop in sorrento the above hanging swallow and the female crane

then at the melbourne reed gift fair i actually got to meet jennifer jones and bought another 3 items

the medium button dish, the shirt sleeve vase

and a key from the set of 5......
i love the bone china, especially the matt finish, it's amazing how fashion changes so often, do you remember when every vase etc was a gloss finish?????

madeit find : + a dose of pink.......

i haven't done a madeit find on clothing yet and i came across this sweet little suit, you can find this cute suit at minienvy on madeit, they call it spurt {spurt is wearing pink dots with a black and white eye today} how adorable is that?????

also on madeit, i added this new set from the circular collection, with some beautiful pink fabric

and i thought i'd give you a dose of some more pink things today

flemington markets august 2010

wow i can't believe it's already been a month since the last flemington markets..........

and what a crazy fun day it was at the markets..........it was a little windy, and we had another marquee come down on top of ours, but we are all a ok, with not much product damage, but will need to invest in another marquee.....thank goodness my girlfriend kell was there to help me.......thanks kell

met some more amazing people and thanks to all my visiting supporters xox

12 hrs to go + madeit find : glamorous

how glamorous is this ivory swirl fascinator from NYJOLE J WALTERS JEWELLERY DESIGN on madeit.........

i love everything about it, the colour ivory is a classic, the way the vintage rinestones swirl just oozes glamorous to me, i would wear it with pride, and while not wearing it  i'd hang it on my wall as an amazing piece of art......

diy duvet or {should i say doona}

well we have finally bought zeke his first bed, we decided to go with the daybed from ikea, so we had the storage underneath as well as a double bed with slats {it pulls out into a double} so when we have visitors their not subject to the floor.........

i've had fabric waiting so i could make him a duvet cover {doona hehehe}  i thought i'd do it slightly different on each side just to mix it up a bit.......i like the top photo best, now i just need some fun pillows, what do you think???????........i hope your all having a great day the sun here is shining then some hail and now it's shining again {i love melbourne weather}

hope you've had a great start 2 the week

my little bucket head......too cute, he got this bucket with clothes in it for christmas and he has been walking around the house with it on his head........

well i hope you've all had a great start to your week, i've been working at the reed gift fair in melbourne selling pebblemats and am meeting loads of people {love it} anyway not sure about you but i am a people watcher, i could spend hours in a cafe or park watching people walk by....... i find it fascinating, one thing i noticed yesterday i saw 3 young ladies with {and this is my hairdressing side coming out} highly lightened hair, i'm talking completely frizzled hair on the ends, i wanted to take them under my wing and fix it for them.........some hair is just not ment to be blonde, however even if we know this i suppose it doesn't stop us from trying, have you had any hair disaster's???????

a few pics from flemington markets july 2010

hey ladies.....hope you all had a lovely weekend, i've been a little busy coming up to market time, we had such a great day at the markets......and if anyone watches postcard in melbourne flemington markets will be featured soon

anyway i thought id take a few photos of some of my new artworks, i really like adding different dimensions to artwork......my hubs loves the above block with a birdcage on the cracked paint {it's his fav at the moment}

and if you've been following my blog you all know i'm in love with mustard at the moment, {you can't tell can you???? hehehe}

and of course describing words, it's like little quotes to ones self

and last photo, i've started doing these cute blocks i call them {storybook art} these are really really fun, and loads of little girls were drawn to them in the weekend,
